Former NBA player Royce White has criticized broadcaster Shannon Sharp and Lakers superstar LeBron James for not taking a stance on China.
James during a recent press conference with reporters why he is not being asked questions about the scandalous photo with NFL team owner Jerry Jones, Dallas.
Earlier, a photograph appeared in the media, which depicts one of the first attempts to integrate black children into the general ranks of students in a comprehensive school in the state of Arkansas. The photo was taken on September 9, 1957. It shows 14-year-old Jones standing among white students who are trying to prevent African Americans from entering the school building.
But when it came to Kyrie Irving, you guys were quick to ask me a question, " LeBron said.
Sharp appreciated James`s comment, giving him credit on social media: Wow, LeBron! This topic should take off.
Yes... I heard that... but the big question is why don`t they ask him about China every day? Everyone knows about it, but they prefer to remain silent. Hey Shannon, why don`t you ask LeBron about China? You can`t fool me, " White wrote.
According to White, James is on the side of the Chinese authorities in relation to the Uighurs.
White is a regular guest on former Donald Trump adviser Steve Bannon`s online show. Bannon was arrested last year on charges of contempt of the US Congress for refusing to testify in the Capitol attack.
White lives with an anxiety disorder. According to the ex-basketball player, his attempts to draw attention to mental health problems led to the fact that he was not allowed to play in the NBA.
White took part in only 3 NBA games.
