Real Madrid still believes in coach Carlo Ancelotti. The 65-year-old Italian has been the target of criticism this season due to the team`s unconvincing performances, including two consecutive defeats to Barcelona (0-4) and Milan (1-3). In La Liga, Cream are in second place and are 9 points behind the Catalans with a game in hand, and in the Champions League, after 2 defeats in 4 rounds, Madrid are now in 17th place.
Real Madrid leaders, led by President Florentino Perez, have concerns about the latest results. The concern is the players` poor response to extreme conditions, as was the case in the games with Barca and Milan.
However, no drastic changes are being considered. Santiago Solari and Raul are mentioned as possible candidates for the post of Madrid coach, but for now these are just speculations.
As Marca reports, there is confidence that if anyone can turn the tide, it is Ancelotti, whose contract runs until June 30, 2026. The Italian is trusted, the club is now far from the times when coaches were easily fired during the season, but everything can change quickly.
